De Nora Auxiliary
anodes — are designed for decorative chrome plating
on metal or plastic. The Auxiliary anode supplements the main plating
anode to insure adequate nickel/chrome plating thickness. De Nora Auxiliary
anodes are dimensionally stable anodes available in a variety of complex
structures in solid rod or sheet material.
FEATURES & BENEFITS
- A DSA® Auxiliary anode provides more throwing power for hard
to reach areas which reduces overplating of expensive metals on flat
surfaces.
- A stable metallic structure provides uniform current distribution
and therefore more uniform plating over the life of the anode.
- De Nora Auxiliary anodes can replace hazardous lead based anodes
to eliminate an environmental and health and safety hazard.
|
- Titanium structure based anodes are lighter for ease of installation
and removal.
- Anode structures can be refurbished to reduce costs.
- Anode pricing developed at time of sale to provide a cost based on
current precious metal pricing.
- Rapid turnaround service is available.
APPLICATIONS
- All hexavalent chromium applications including plating on plastics
or metal on parts such as truck bumpers, automotive wheel covers, faucets,
motorcycle wheels and trim, and others.
