The classic LIDA® Groundbed Design and Economic Comparison software has been revised and updated and is available in this ON LINE version and in a CD-ROM version.

What the Program Does: This program is capable of creating a groundbed design for each of three groundbed types: Deep, Shallow Vertical, and Continuous Horizontal.
Enter data normally used to design a groundbed, select anode types and the program produces details of the requested designs.

Diagrams and Explanations: Click the anode button at the left to see dimensioned drawings explaining the details of the design output from this program.

Design a Groundbed: Click the anode button at the left to begin entering data and constructing a design for your groundbed.
Use Your Unit Costs: Because costs are not uniform everywhere in the world, we permit you to use costs which are relevant to the location of the groundbed being designed. If you do not enter "local" costs we will use some typical cost for the Houston, TX area. Click the anode button at the left to start entering or editing "local" costs.

Getting the Best Results: To get the best results from this program, you may wish to refer to some of the brief instructions. To read the entire set of instructions for entering data, click on the anode button at the left.

The data entry form contains a number of small question marks which also lead to help. Hold the cursor over the question mark, and a short message will pop up for a brief time. Click on the question mark and you will be taken directly to more extensive help information.

Feedback: We appreciate any feedback you care to provide relative to the operation of this program. If something does not work properly or if you would like to see some modifications or additions, please click on the anode button at the right and send us your comments.
