Industrie De Nora, has created the
cell designs now in use in every
diaphragm cellroom in the world.
In the same way, we have developed
new cathode designs which have
demonstrated the lowest voltage
and longest lives. Our new patented
designs have demonstrated high
voltage savings and longer life
compared to standard cathodes
under the same operating conditions:
- The Advanced Technology Cathode (ATC™) design uses copper internals to create a low resistance path while demonstrating very long life at high current density.
- The Bump-Plate cathode design uses advanced weld technology with steel internals to create a
superior current distribution.
- All cathode designs can be modified to allow for more active area. This means that cathodes can be used to make more production or make the same production and save power at lower current densities.
Industrie De Nora has created partnerships with select maintenance and manufacturing shops. At these shops, proprietary manufacturing methods are used to insure quality, low voltage and extended component life even on standard cathode designs.
