SM–2™ is a Proprietary, PTFE Based Thermal Polymer Modifier for Asbestos Diaphragms
Used in Chlor-Alkali Cells.
SM–2™ has been the preferred modifier throughout the world with real demonstrated voltage savings over HAPP modified and straight asbestos diaphragms as well as at least a doubling in life.
Over 4 million tons of chlorine per year are produced with SM–2™ diaphragms.
